Due Diligence

The International Keyword Corporation operates a Due Diligence policy. This policy is intended to add an extra level of security and authenticity to the registration process, and is one of the first in the industry.

High Risk registrations, i.e. those believed to be of trademarks, possible trademarks or company names are tagged. These registrations are processed separately. Contact is first made with the registering party.

The secondary process is the establishment of contact with the IP or Legal department within the company and the establishment of authenticity of the application

Because of the nature of the registration process, the due diligence policy applies only during the Restricted Registration period, and may not be entirely enforced at any single time.
