The International Keyword Protocol

The International Keyword Protocol is designed to allow for the parsing, distribution and general usage of plain language Internet addresses. The protocol is compliant with ICANN recommendation regarding the format and processing of distributed queries.

A number of companies are currently involved in the development of the protocol, with a projected launch date of early 2003.More information regarding the structure of the protocol will be made available via these companies as it is released.

The protocol is Open and International, developed to abide by the technical standards determined by the Oversight Committee.
